Jakob Rocks!
Jakob's Parent teacher meeting was this morning before school. She told us she loves Jakob. That he knows his letters and numbers. He is good at counting and sounding out (he had better be with all the work we do with him). She did say that he got a point off one of his tests because he was too shy to answer...pause to laugh... I know! Way too funny! Does she know Jakob? She has been telling me from the start that he won't answer very much. He just turns red and smiles. So that is what she gave us to work on. Getting him to talk more in class.
Jakob also did his Bat diorama speech today. He picked the White Winged Vampire Bat. He had to tell everyone about his bat. And how he decorating the diorama. With the whole shy problem this was hard for him, but he got an 18 our of 20. 1 point off for talking softly (the shy thing again). He did great!
