Quick Update!

My little girl now has 5 teeth. She is moving all over the place faster than we can get her. She is into all the cabients and thinks she can climb the baby gate to get to the stairs (yes I found her at the top of the gate, trying to get her leg over). She wants to do and be every where the kids are.

Lukas will be three years old in a week and I can't believe how tall he is getting. He is already potty trained, but he wears all his underware backwards. This is because he likes to see the charecters on his underware. This does give him weggies, but I guess it is worth it to him.

Jakob is starting school in two weeks. I am really sad he is going back. I love having him home! He brings a great spirit in our home!

Logan is going on his first over night camp as a boy scout. It's just for a couple of days, but he is really excited!

Kellsie has loved her summer. She has read so many books! She even found a website where people and kids upload books they have written and she can read those too. She is working on a couple of books to post online as well.

Jeff is in back to school time at work, so we don't see him very much. On his days off we make the most of the time with him. Right now he is at the movies with Kellsie for some father daughter time.

Me? I'm sick! Got a cold. The kids were sick most of last week and now they are better. I am not. I am grateful for the older kids who are helping entertain the younger ones.

Family update: My brother David and Sister in Law Rose are expecting their third baby in feb. I can't wait. They don't know what they are having, so for now I am calling her baby katie. I can't wait to go shopping!!! My sister Susan is coming for a visit in a couple of weeks. We havn't seen her in a while. The kids can't wait to play with her. And I think she is bringing some books for kellsie to read.

I have a new phone, so I havn't downloaded the app for blogger now, so I havn't uploaded very much. On the upside, I have a better phone on my camera, so the pictures should be better.

Logan

Logan's 11th bday was yesterday. I can't believe he is already 11! Time went by so fast. I was thinking all day about Logan. He is so smart and does so well at school. He is a hard worker and takes pride in all his work. He is great at sports and I love watching him play. He is great with his younger siblings. Lukas loves him and wants to be just like him.he is so kind and sweet. I love talking to him and spending time with him. I'm excited to see what kind of adult he turns out to be.

I'm grateful for the family and friends who have sent cards and called him. U guys r amazing!

zoe Eating

This was Zoe's first time eating. But it was a while ago, just took me a while to get it up.

Lukas jumping

Sorry it's sideways. Can't seem to figure out how to flip it. Enjoy! We sure did!

We went to Cliffs Amusement part on Friday. HAD A BLAST! Only posted a few pictures. spent most of the time playing and having fun. Forgot to take a lot of pics.

there was a kids ride area. Too small for my older ones to go on, but they really wanted to take Lukas. I'm not sure who ended up having more fun!

This is the log ride. We ALL loved this ride. Lukas would raise his arms and yell. Jeff and I had to take turns going on it because Zoe was too small. Sorry Zoe! Next time!

Dad and his boys

This is on independence day. We went to the Balloon Fiesta Park for Freedom Fest. here are pictures of Jeff and Him boys.

Logan's Cross Over

This is Logan's cross over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. We are so proud of him. we can't find the pictures of his arrow of light award or him crossing over the bridge, but when we find it we will post it.

We are so proud of Logan. he has the goal to earn his Eagle and he is already working hard to get it.

canning

A couple of my friends had apricot and peach trees that had too my fruit on them. They asked if we wanted any. We took the kids over and picked boxes of fruit! Then starts the canning process. For those of you who have canned, it takes a lot of time and it is hard work. Over the years I have taught the kids to can and this past week of canning, they have been AMAZING!

Logan and Jakob wanted to make apricot/strawberry syrup. They pitted, cleaned and pureed the fruit. Then they boiled it and canned it by them selves. Of course I supervised, but I really just reminded them of the process. They did ALL The work. I was so proud of them!

The Syrup tasted great! We have had waffles or pancakes all week, just so we could use it!

I didn't take any pictures of Kellsie canning, because I forgot, but here she is taking care of Zoe while the boys are making their syrup. Kellsie made peach/ strawberry freezer jam all by herself. WOW! So good!

It has been hard during lunch time to pick what jam to put on the sandwiches. Peach/strawberry, apricot/strawberry or apricot.

Don't forget Lukas. This boy worked hard too! We gave him a table knife and he sat around the table taking out apricot pits too! He got most of them in the bowls. We had to be careful, because if he dropped one on the floor it would be a race. A race to see who could get to the fallen apricot first...me or Zoe.

This little angel was so good while we canned. Mostly because we kept giving her apricots and peaches to eat!

Thanks kids. We had a great time canning.

And not to forget Jeff. The second wave of canning he was off work. He helped peal, cute and pit most of the peaches. Helped make leather and dried apricots. Thanks Jeff. Would have taking a lot longer without you!

Bio Park

We went on a family picture day at the Bio Park. I always forget how hard it is to get 5 kids to look at the camera at the same time! I also forgot how the two oldest boys hate looking towards the sun. They start squinting and it drives Jeff bonkers. So here are the ones that are semi ok. Jeff hasn't photo shopped them to get shadows out.

The kids picked this place to take a picture. It was in part shade,  so I hope Jeff can fix the shadows. I was right next to Zoe, so if she wanted to jump off the bench I was there.

A week ago, we were at a party and there was a small fish pond. Well, Lukas was standing too close. Lost balance. Fell in. So since then he wont go anywhere close to something holding water. Jeff asked the boys to take a picture at this fountain. Lukas wouldn't sit on the edge, so he sat in front. HA HA HA HA HA! I love it!

My angel, Jakob. He is so adorable! I love him so much and he always takes great pictures!

Kellsie is the only one that can take pictures without moving, squinting or freeking out!!! Isn't she beautiful??? What a babe!

Zoe was so interested in looking at everything else, we couldn't get her looking at the camera.

I don't know if we are ever taking them out for pictures again! HA!

My Guest Book! Check it out!
