I don't take PTO office until tomorrow. So I was in today helping add up for the fundraiser and the current PTO Pres comes in and starts yelling at me. Telling me I said horrible stuff about her and on and on. I told her I didn't say anything about her and she knows that. She went onto say lots of things that were untrue. But what really was messed up is that she said that she talked to a Lawyer and if anything gets said bad about her after she left...
Was that a threat? Are you kidding me? This is PTO! Not the run for President of the USA. I just can't believe this crap is still happening!
NICE! Just what I need to start the day off. Can't she just loose the race and leave? Does she have to be mean to me. I didn't do anything to her and she knows it! But yet...

Pictures???
While I was at "Time our for Women" last summer there was a business there called Heritage Makers. They have a website that you can upload your pictures and place them in templates (digital Scrap booking) and if you want publish them in book format. The books are on the high side, so that is not what interests me. I did talk to the lady there and they have this scanner. If you grab a bunch of pictures, the scanner sucks them in and scans them just as fast as it takes to make a bunch of copies. The lady says lightening fast.
Anyways, I am asking her to come in the middle of November to host a party, but just a scanning party. The prices are on their website for the scanning. But if you scan in 500 or more pictures (please, I think I have a million) it is 19 cents per picture. About 38.00 for 500 pictures. And that price is per person. She says they can put it on a disk or load it right onto their website for storage.
Anyway, If you are interested in getting your pictures that are not digital in digital format, please email me or post a comment. This is big for me. I have spent hours scanning in pictures and I haven't made a dent. And most of my pictures from when I was a kid are turning yellow (mostly because my mom hot glued them in a book. Way to go mom!), so I want to get those done as well.

Chocolate cake in a mug???
3 MINUTE COFFEE MUG CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 Coffee Mug (large mug)
4 tablespoons flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Some nuts (optional)Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well .
Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT!

Our Weekend
On Friday afternoon our next door neighbors went to Santa Fe for a wedding. They stayed overnight to attend a dinner the following night. They asked us to watch their kids.
So Friday afternoon, they dropped off their 3 boys and picked them up on Saturday night around 11:30pm.
The kids had a blast. Porter is Logan's age, so they played Madden 09 and various other Wii game. Zach and Jakob are in Preschool together, so they played upstairs with all the toys. And Andrew is 2year old and he played with Kellsie the whole time.
On Saturday we I took them to their house for a couple hours to play outside. But other than that they played at our house. Jeff was off on Saturday (the start of his week vacation), so he was able to help.
The only hard thing was remembering to change Andrew's diapers. Jakob has been out of diapers for almost 3 years now, so it is hard to go back to taking care of those kid of needs. But we worked through it.
Point is, the kids had a blast playing with their friends.
Kellsie did come down stairs on Friday and told us that Andrew (who was in his crib) kept throwing stuffed animals at her, so she couldn't sleep. I laughed because she was the one handing him back the stuffed animals. She is too funny!

Wost Nightmare!!!
So the voting is in and....I WON!
But here comes my worst nightmare. I was running with Stephanie. She has the background in finance. I was counting on the first couple weeks working with her going over the finances and fixing the mess that is currently there.
But that dream is not there anymore.I WANT STEPHANIE!!!
Note to Stephanie- I will keep the dream alive in my heart! I will never let it die! I am so sad! BOOK FAIR FOREVER!

More PTO crap!
Well the voting is closed for the election. Today after school the votes will be counted and we will find out who is on the board.
My stomach is in knotts. I told my friend that I just want to get drunk and forget everything. Too bad I don't drink. Any other ideas?

The bear came out!
So on Monday I get a call from the nurse. Logan was really upset, so I went down to school. After 10 min of him crying I found out what happened.
He was in the bathroom stall and at least 2 4th grade boys were kicking his door open over and over again. He told them to stop , but they didn't. He was so scared. He thought they were coming in to hurt him.
Another boy came in and told them boys he was telling and then they ran away.
While in the nurses office the PE coach came in and told me she found one of the boys and he was in with the Principal. Of course I waited outside and when I saw the kid I was upset to find out that I knew him. I helped him carry stuff to his class one time. I told him that the boy he was picking on was my kid. Of course he felt really bad (not that it mattered). I also found his teacher and told her (she is working on it too).
What I want to do is hunt them down and smack them around. I don't like bullies! And I am still mad about it!
I just don't understand the bully thing. If I ever found out that my kids bullied someone I would ground them for life! But I guess I can't control other peoples kids.
