Bright side

Jeff just pointed out that if I do have to go to court because of the sick days of the kids, that if I go to prision and have the baby, then they will have to pay for it. So major bright side to this whole thing. This baby could end up being FREE on the labor side. NICE THINKING JEFF!

Just kidding...

So both kids woke up sick again. Still no major symptoms. Stomach aches. Kellsie thought she was going to throw up, but didn't. I kept them home from school. Kellsie had a field trip today, she will miss. I am not too worried about it.

The thing I am worried about is that I am over my 10 days allowed that APS gives me to be sick. I have to have a Dr's note telling them that the Dr thinks my kids are sick. Well I am not paying 20.00 per kid to see our Dr, so he can give me a note that tells me what I already know. So I am just going to call them in sick to the school and see if I get any letters from court saying I need to go in and explain myself.

Gotta love the school system! My kids get all A's. Kellsie scores one of the highest on the state testing last year. 100% homework turned in and I am worried about being called into court. AHHHHH! What's a mom to do.

Kids are all better

I kept the kids home from school today, just in case they were still sick. They aren't. They were feeling really good today. So I had them clean their rooms, separate laundry and Iron some material I needed so that I could make a blanket.

I finished three blankets today. One was already started and one just needed to be finished.

I am glad my kids are feeling good. I don't like seeing them sick.

Do you remember your first time?

Kellsie and I had been talking about shaving her legs (what were you thinking about?). The hair on her legs is black and she has been worried about it. I told her it was up to her if she was going to start shaving. I told her the pros and cons. Pros being no hair on the legs. Cons being EVERYTHING ELSE! Always having to shave, cutting yourself. Well, I guess that is it, but isn't that enough?

She decided that today was the day. We went and bought her a nice razor and shaving gel. I just went in the bathroom and taught her how to do it. She was so scared and nervous, it was so cute! She didn't cut herself at all!

WOW! This is weird! Teaching your daughter how to do this chick stuff is a little crazy. We have covered most of the girl stuff now.

I am thankful that the next three are boys and Jeff can take are of that stuff.

A touch of the flu

So on Friday night Kellsie said her tummy hurt. She didn't look too good, so we stayed home on sat to rest. Good thing because sat morning, Logan's tummy hurt. Both still have energy, they can eat, so I am not too worried. I just feel bad that they feel bad. Last night I started with achy neck and back (could be pregnancy or flu). Jeff's tummy hurt last night and this morning.

SO EVERYONE STAYED HOME FROM CHURCH! I really hate it when people come sick to church. Usually because my kids come home with the germs and get sick soon after.

They kids are already looking better. We will see if they are better for school on Monday. Jakob still doesn't have any symptoms.

I am just grateful that we didn't get it bad. A lot of my friends have been sick with their families and I feel really bad for them.

Tired! Tired! Tired

So on thursday I had a lady from church who hasn't had any kids ask me how pregnant women slept with a basketball on their tummies. I laughed and said that we didn't sleep!

Boy am I tired! And when I am tired, I am cranky. And I am already cranky because of the hormones. My poor family. Jakob asked me when the baby was coming out, so I can be normal again. I don't know if he ment my body or my mental state. funny. Soon. I hope.
